Products and Services Overview
Russell Steel offers a
wide variety of sign holders to the industry. We have
set the standard for quality and variety of product.
Our product line is a reflection of our customers
desires to have unique and dependable products. We
understand that it is critical to our customers that
they have sign frames that are uniform and consistent.
The unique aspect of
Russell Steel is that we are a full line metal
fabrication plant. We are capable of the full range of
metal fabrication which allows us to manufacture almost
any type of frame or stake found in the market today.
We are able to machine most of our own tooling and weld
fixtures for all our frame designs. Russell Steel
also produces non-frame products for the sign industry
such as custom metal brackets and bracing.
We offer in-house
"powder-coating" with two complete powder coating
systems to give our frames the highest quality finish
available. Russell Steel also offers robotic
welding, sheet shearing, metal breaking, mig and
aluminum welding, spot-welding, stud-welding and complex
drilling.
Company Story
Russell Steel Products,
Inc. was founded in 1922 in Kansas City, KS. We
started out as a small metal fabrication plant meeting
the local customers needs. Over the years our
machinery capacity and customer base increased along
with our product line. As a metal fabricator we
produce many items for customers within the sign frame
industry, as well as other products outside the
industry, for such national companies as Stanly Tool,
Kraft Tool Co.,
Diamond-Bomart and
Kennworth Truck.
In 1997 we acquired an
additional fabrication plant to help meet production
needs. This new 28,000 sq/ft plant is our main
production facility. Our original plant now serves
as the main distribution center. Russell Steel has
established itself as a national leader in sign frame
fabrication. We service customers from coast to
coast with all types of sign holders. We continue to
expand our product line to help meet the needs of the
sign industry.
